Advertised Summary Job Description: THIS IS A TEMPORARY ONE YEAR PART-TIME POSITION (30 HOURS A WEEK)
Reporting to Professor Sheena Iyengar, the Research Staff Assistant will have the following responsibilities:
(1)Serve as Course Assistant for MBA, EMBA, and PhD classes, helping in the classroom to field questions from students, coordinate slideshow during lectures, manage in-class exercises (including online simulations), and handling CANVAS logistics (2)Design web-based surveys including programming, development, testing and implementation of online studies (3)Assist with data collection (4)Perform literature reviews and compile citations (5)Maintain online participant database (6)Maintain communication with the IRB, submit modifications, renewals, etc. (7)Assist with online research, grant proposals, and proofreading (8)Other administrative tasks as assigned (i.e. participant payments and reimbursements) (9)Assist with creating slides for presentations (10) Oversee video production tasks associated with research projects (11) Assist in programming and visual design projects
General Minimum Qualifications: Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Psychology or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications: Strong writing ability and research experience. Strong computer skills preferred, including, SPSS or R, MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point). Knowledge of online databases: JSTOR, PsycInfo, PsycArticles, EBSCO, Web of Science, etc. Presentation skills and experience with outreach and event planning are a plus.
