We’re looking for a number of experienced technical writers for a full-time (35 hour/week) contract starting October 30 and running through to December 15. There is a high probability that additional contracts will be offered to writers for January – March 2018.
Working on-site during regular business hours is required. Offices are located in Burnaby BC near a skytrain station.
You will be rewriting source material for a Knowledge Centre that supports customer service staff. Typical page types include how-to’s, process descriptions, call script overviews, quick reference guides, etc.
Some of the subject areas are technical in nature, but all content needs to be written in plain language with a user focus, keeping both the call agent and customer in mind. You will have access to a subject matter expert and a managing editor for the duration of the project, and – while previous technical writing experience is important – training for specific requirements will be provided.
If interested, please send cover letter, resume, two references, and examples of work to Kathy Wagner at Kathy@ContentStrategyInc.com no later than October 15, 2017. Include “TECH WRITER” in the subject line.
