Technical Management: Responsible for ensuring that Web systems are of the highest quality and in compliance with standards and organizational objectives. Web servers, website creation, streaming technology, dynamic content generation and content management systems (Adobe Experience Manager) are a few of the key services supported by the team.
Integration and Server Support: Participate in and guide the development of solutions to automate the administration of the Adobe Experience Manager content management system and servers. Oversee support of server operating system configuration and web server (Apache, etc) configuration.
In addition, will be responsible for the implementation and support of the Learning Management System (Canvas) used by faculty, students, and instructional designers in the Center for Teaching Excellence. This support of a mission critical system includes integration and troubleshooting reported issues.
Provides technical direction and management and administration of web systems and servers for non BC.EDU web sites for University Advancement and a variety of other areas.
Bachelor's degree required and Minimum of five (5) years of hands on web development and support, web systems administration, software implementation including support and project management experience. Three (3) years of supervisory experience.
- Well-versed in Adobe Experience Manager or other Content Management System.Well-versed in the Apache web server and with Linux.
- Familiarity with current visual design and prototyping tools.
- Understanding of application development cycles and quality assurance processes.
