PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Fundraising Campaign Assistant reports directly to the International Development Director and assists on the thirteen annual direct mail and digital campaigns sent out each year as well as our four annual Carmelite Campus events.
The Fundraising Campaign Assistant will provide support for all Society of the Little Flower fundraising campaigns assisting in all operational areas as directed. The right candidate will learn the entire life cycle of a fundraising campaign from inception to completion, assisting in development, marketing, processing donations, and acknowledgement of donations. This person will function as an office “all-rounder” with duties in every area of our operation. Duties will include assisting both digital and direct mail areas with caging, data entry, fulfillment, and donor relations.
Campaign/event development: assisting in the design and development of fundraising appeals and campus events, including promotional marketing and cross-website advertising as directed by the International Development Director.
Donation processing: receiving and preparing mailed and digital donations for recording.
Donor Records: recording donations in our proprietary CRM database.
Fulfillment: sending out acknowledgement letters and religious gift orders.
Donor Relations: communicating with donors via phone and email.
- Update our websites with photos and graphics to ensure they meet the needs of the organization.
- Prepare mass marketing emails for multiple campaigns.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
