The Center for/ Global Policy Solutions (“CGPS”), a social change strategy organization based in Washington, D.C., seeks an experienced health equity training consultant to convert a series of health equity focused online training modules into a single curriculum that can be delivered at a two-day in-person Culture of Health Institute for Leadership Development (CHILD) training event. The CHILD training curriculum consultant will be responsible for reviewing content from all existing training modules and designing a learning experience that provides participants with critical course content while also prioritizing interactivity, peer engagement, adaptability to different learners’ needs, and personalized technical assistance for participants. S/he will work closely with the Program Director, Deputy Director, and Events and Program Manager to ensure the final curriculum meets its goal of accelerating the ability of participants to apply an equity lens and address health inequities through effective community engagement, cross-sector partnerships, and policy advocacy strategies.
The selected individual will have significant thought leadership, curriculum design, and facilitation responsibilities. In addition to being proficient in health equity issues and public policy, the ideal candidate will be an excellent writer, creative thinker, resourceful problem solver, and highly productive worker.
- Review and convert content from seven existing online training modules into one two-day long facilitated learning experience
- Through expert facilitation and moderation, lead (in partnership with 1-2 other trainers) one in-person training session using the developed curriculum
- Work with the ARCHE instructional design team to finalize the visual design of all presentations and supporting materials
- Participate in all team/planning, implementation, reporting and assessment meetings and calls as needed
