The Experience Strategist for UHC Digital team designs and leads experience strategy engagements that lead to innovative and connected offerings for our products and their customers. This role will participate in all phases of strategy from context framing and diagnosis, current state assessment, discovering opportunities, through to defining initiatives, roadmaps and design. This role will also support the Business Strategy and Product leadership in the ongoing strategy for UHC Digital. Primary Responsibilities:Provide senior - level consulting, estimation, planning, and leadership of experience strategy projects Integrate customer insight (through a variety of research methods), market insight (through internal, competitive and desk research) and product objectives into actionable experience strategy and execution Advocate customers and the "experience" in conversations with cross-disciplinary teams, UHC leaders and analysts to grow the influence of experience thinking Work with researchers to understand customers, designers to craft the future, product managers and owners to connect experience to product capabilities, analytics specialists to establish frameworks for measurable value, and technologists to architect systems to drive ongoing viability - the role is that of an integrator of different perspectives Synthesize information quickly, and apply this deftly through a combination of wisdom, foresight, and experience Facilitate meetings, working sessions and workshops with sensitivity to team needs Manage key tracks of work (including other individuals) in accordance with established budget, work plans and quality standards Contribute to thought leadership internally
Required Qualifications:10+ years of experience developing strategies for new / evolved connected services and products 4+ years project leadership experience Expertise in disciplines of strategy and design; primary and secondary research a plus Extensive knowledge of, and experience with, a broad range of (digital) user experience strategy methods and tools, eg. Experience Mapping, customer type creation, experience modeling, service design, prioritization, business case development, etc. Expertise in analysis of research (and research findings) and their use in driving qualified thinking, strategy development and briefing Proven ability to handle large - scale, complex systems projects Must be able to articulate design concepts, strategies and roadmaps clearly through exceptional oral and written communication skills; good presenter and great listener Successful record of developing relationships with colleagues and partners A self - starter with an entrepreneurial spirit with vision and leadership to help facilitate change within a team and the industryPreferred Qualifications:Healthcare industry experience Bachelor's Degree or an advanced degreeTechnology Careers with UHC Information and technology have amazing power to transform the health care industry and improve people's lives.
