Advanced Simulation Technology inc. (ASTi) is looking for a contract policy writer to create internal security policies for National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) cybersecurity requirements.
At ASTi, we make computer hardware and software systems that provide voice communications, audio and special sound effects, speech recognition, and artificial intelligence capabilities for the simulation and training industry. That’s where you come in.

This position provides the opportunity to work with a variety of ASTi employees, including the Technical Writer, Operations Manager, and Director of Project Engineering, so you should be personable, collaborative, and able to accept and incorporate constructive criticism.
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or Journalism from an accredited institution
Minimum of five years policy writing experience in information technology and cybersecurity-related work
Familiarity with DFARS and NIST security requirements
Good oral and written communications skills; familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style preferred
