Proofpoint Security Awareness Training is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to join our team at our Pittsburgh, PA office located in the Strip District.
We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to drive our software marketing and grow revenue in accordance with corporate goals. The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for positioning and presenting our products to internal and external stakeholders, and providing customer support and sales both within the security awareness and training product line and across Proofpoint with the information required to advance product sales.
The ideal candidate for this position will be a strong marketer, project manager, and writer who can work collaboratively across many departments such as Product Management, Marketing Communications, and Customer Support.
Your day to day
Drive product strategy and positioning to keep the security awareness training product line competitive in a fast-moving market
Develop comprehensive and ongoing product release plans to all internal stakeholders in the business unit and across Proofpoint
Work closely with product management team to determine the positioning of the products both within the Wombat Security portfolio and to the market as a whole
Acquire, maintain and communicate competitive intelligence
Review product release notes to create content to communicate to sales audiences
Work closely with Technical Writer to ensure consistent content and messaging to all stakeholders internal and external
Work with sales enablement function to create training materials for new and existing sales team members
Identify all feature changes due to product enhancements and releases, as well as all necessary changes to collateral and website with updates scheduled and completed prior to each release

What you bring to the team
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communications
3-5 years of B2B product marketing experience with 10 years of B2B marketing experience total
Experience in the info security industry a definite plus
This position requires travel to conferences, trade events, user group meetings and customer locations (up to 20%)
