The Proposal & Project Coordinator position is a direct-hire position working for HGA in our Baton Rouge, LA office.
The Proposal & Project Coordinator supports the Program Management Division in the creation of business development materials including proposals and flyers. The Proposal & Project Coordinator is also responsible for providing project coordination support to include technical editing and writing; developing presentations; research; reporting; and other tasks as requested by Project Managers.
Proposal & Project Coordinator Duties & Responsibilities • Research various databases for open solicitations • Proposal & Project Coordinator will review RFPs/RFQs for submission requirements • Assist with the writing, formatting, editing, and production of proposals • Proposal & Project Coordinator will assist in updating resumes for use in proposals • Assist with tracking and reporting on proposals, including use of the Customer Relationship Management software • Provide writing, editing, and formatting services for project documents • Proposal & Project Coordinator will perform other proposal and project duties as assigned
Proposal & Project Coordinator Requirements • At least 1 year of experience supporting disaster or emergency management projects • Advanced Microsoft Word formatting skills • Intermediate Microsoft PowerPoint skills • Detail oriented • Ability to work on a team • Proven ability to work under demanding time constraints with a sense of urgency • Three or more years of experience in proposal coordination and/or technical writing and editing • Bachelor’s Degree required
