The visual designer position produces high-quality creative content that engages and inspires our audiences. The visual designer position will incorporate design and photography skills into print, digital, video, web, e-mail and social platforms. The visual designer position works on a collaborative marketing and communications team to find opportunities to promote and tell the story of Spring Arbor University that connects with potential students, donors and alumni.
Candidate must have experience with: InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Experience with Cannon DSLR is preferred.
Candidate must be able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks, possess good interpersonal and communication skills, and be creative.
The ability to write creative content and messaging is preferred.
Candidate must have excellent organizational skills.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably with a degree in visual communications, graphic design, advertising or marketing.
Strong communication skills are a must, as well as experience in marketing.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, organize multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines.
Significant attention to detail is required.
Must be a team player who is able to work well with internal and external constituencies.
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
