Target Audience: Heath care facilities managers and others involved in optimizing the health care built environment such as contractors, vendors, architects, designers, construction workers, engineers, etc. Synopsis: This is the second handbook in the company's Health Care Facilities Management Handbook Series. This book provides a detailed look into the administration responsibilities of a health care facilities manager, while providing opportunities for readers to check their learning as well as offering anecdotes and tips from the experts. Book length: 30-40K words The tone and style will be modeled after the first book in the series which is written and available for review. Critical content includes the following: Management plans, policies and proceedures Capital planning Labor distribution Supplies Develop presentation for projects Manage and oversee operations Staff Management Staff Training Succession Planning Develop Departmental Strategic Management Plan Establish partnerships Etc. Content will come from existing written material and interviews with SMEs. Research will be required of the writer. However, the organization has a wealth of research they'd like the writer to pull from. Deadline for Completion: December 2021

The writer must have experience with the following: Book writing/ghostwriting: Must be able to show or generally describe other successful book writing/ghostwriting projects. Ability to work with SMEs: Ghostwriter must be able to show they know how to successfully navigate working with multiple levels of SMEs. There will be no one author for the project. Rather, the interviews will be with the association SMEs. Project Management: The ghostwriter must show by way of examples their level of project management skills. The clients are engineers and they require a high level of organization and communication. The client will have a detailed process for working with the various levels of SMEs but the ghostwriter must be able to work through and follow the process to succeed. |
Additional Salary Information: This is book #2 of 6. The client would like to write and produce two books per year and they are searching for the right writer for the job. If this project works out, the writer will write all remaining books in the series.
