Stanford GSB is looking for an experienced Web Administrator within the Teaching and Learning Hub. Working under direction from the Visual Design Manager, this role will manage all aspects of front and back-end web development and administration for a variety of teaching assets, multimedia cases, faculty profiles, and the Teaching and Learning Hub website. We are looking for someone who excels at front-end web design, has deep knowledge and experience with back-end web development and administration, and has experience developing long-term strategies and standards for delivering content at scale. Expertise in WordPress is a must. Some experience with Drupal and other content management systems is a plus. The ideal candidate will have experience creating standards, implementing security provisions based on user type, resolving performance issues, analyzing and reporting usage statistics, and working with multiple stakeholders (faculty, staff, third-party vendors and contractors, etc.) to achieve business and unit goals. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must.

Your primary responsibilities include:
Manage all aspects of front and back-end web development and administration for the Teaching and Learning Hub, including but not limited to the following:
Prepare and oversee the long-term plan for WordPress multi-site development and presence, including standards, Stanford two-step authentication maintenance, security, and guidelines based on business goals and input from stakeholders.
Enforce publication and web style guidelines for TLHub, courses, and faculty profiles/research.
Resolve performance issues with the platform as they arise, and develop mitigation plans to minimize the potential for downtime.
Build websites for new and migrating websites; ensure ease of access and workflow, permissions, roles, etc. to meet client needs
Responsible for creating and implementing effective end user experience which may include design, website templates, and dynamic content for easier faculty site maintenance.
Configure, analyze, and report statistics regarding all relevant website metrics to site owners so success metrics can be tracked.
Evaluate third-party features and services for functionality, accessibility, security, and maintainability including Elementor, backup and security add-ons, and site optimizers.
Find, diagnose, and fix content problems, including broken links, typographical errors, and formatting inconsistencies.
Be flexible to completing any other additional assigned duties.
To be successful in this position, you will bring: Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with web applications and server products.
Demonstrated success record with developing and managing websites.
Solid understanding of web standards and usability methods.
Expert knowledge of content management systems, including the ability to perform standard configuration.
Ability to design and implement complex web services.
Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
Solid knowledge of web authoring and publishing tools.
In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, and related web site development technologies and software.
Knowledge of multimedia and design.
