The Harvard Kennedy School's (HKS) Office of Communications and Public Affairs (OCPA) has an immediate opening for a talented, multi-disciplinary, self-motivated designer to be part of our design team to develop and implement compelling visual design solutions according to an established brand strategy. The candidate will design for a multi-platform environment in print and digital for internal and external communications. This fast-paced office that includes working with two other designers, requires an experienced designer to manage both digital and print design projects from concept through production. Projects include designing a range of multi-platform communications products for school-wide needs and for other departments within Harvard Kennedy School. The position will also work collaboratively with strategists, writers, editors, developers, videographers, photographers, printers, fabricators, and project managers. The successful candidate will be part of a team of communications specialists elevating ground-breaking research, attracting and retaining a diverse and talented student body, building a world-wide community of alumni, expanding the reach of our teaching and learning, promoting fundraising initiatives, and furthering the impact of HKS through various channels. Bachelor's degree or certificate in graphic design and a minimum of 6 years of professional design experience in integrated, cross-channel marketing communications. Candidates must submit work samples/portfolio - please see application instructions below.
