Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Strategy & Analytics, Analytics & Cognitive in San Jose, California and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You'll Do
Develop and lead technology implementation strategic solutions projects through requirements gathering, system design, development, testing, and production rollout. Monitor production systems for maintenance and enhancement. Provide software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Design and develop data validation processes, perform data analysis and profiling to identify data gaps using software data quality and data profiling tools to rectify data redundancies and anomalies. Research user reported issues with software systems, identify root causes and resolutions,
implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Track implementation defects using defect tracking tools, coordinate defect resolution efforts, and document resolution details. Develop data visualizations to assist companies in gaining key business insights and areas of operational improvements.

BACHELORS DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, ENGINEERING (ANY), OR A RELATED FIELD AND TWO (2) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. MUST ALSO HAVE TWO (2) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE INVOLVING EACH OF THE FOLLOWING:
DEFINING SYSTEMS STRATEGY, DEVELOPING SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS, DESIGNING, PROTOTYPING, AND TESTING CUSTOM TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, AND SUPPORTING SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION TO CREATE TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS TO MEET BUSINESS NEEDS IN THE FIELDS OF HEALTHCARE AND GOVERNMENT POLICY IMPLEMENTATION; DEVELOPING WIREFRAMES AND DESIGNING REQUIREMENTS TO CREATE TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS TO MEET TECHNICAL AND VISUAL DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS; CREATING TECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATIONS, INCLUDING SCREEN LAYOUTS, NAVIGATION FLOWS, LOGIC DIAGRAMS, DATA MODELS, PROCESS MODELS, AND PSEUDO CODE, TO BE USED FOR APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT; CREATING TEST CASES AND PERFORMING FUNCTIONAL, NON-FUNCTIONAL, SYSTEM INTEGRATION, AND END-TO-END TESTING OF SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS, UTILIZING TEST MANAGEMENT TOOLS INCLUDING JIRA AND JAMA; VALIDATING REQUIREMENTS AND ANALYZING TRACEABILITY TO ENSURE IT ENHANCEMENTS AND PROJECT DEMANDS ARE DELIVERED SUCCESSFULLY USING TRACEABILITY AND TESTING TOOLS INCLUDING JIRA;
DEVELOPING DATA VISUALIZATION DASHBOARDS UTILIZING QLIK SENSE; AND IDENTIFYING AND DOCUMENTING SYSTEM DEFICIENCIES, TRACKING APPLICATION DEFECTS USING DEFECT TRACKING TOOLS INCLUDING JIRA, TFS, AND MS DEVOPS, COORDINATING DEFECT RESOLUTION EFFORTS, AND DOCUMENTING RESOLUTION DETAILS.
