Customer Experience Specialist and Web Project Coordinator

Stanford Web Services (SWS) is seeking a Customer Experience Specialist and Web Project Coordinator to support our website owners and editors and to coordinate service delivery as an integral part of our team. In this position, you will:
Manage data in project and resource applications, including Harvest, Forecast and JIRA, and prepare reports for clients, project teams, and financial partners.
Prepare and send estimates and invoices for work ranging in scope from small projects to multi-year engagements.
Act as front-line support to faculty, students and staff, answering questions and maintaining documentation as necessary.
Influence our product roadmap by representing the customer needs in product sprints.
Learn to create websites by testing and documenting features with the support of peers and mentors.
In the process, you'll become adept at working with content management systems, including Drupal and WordPress; develop skills for clear project coordination; support the value of accessibility by ensuring websites are usable by all; and contribute to the next generation of web publishing at Stanford.
About SWS Stanford Web Services (SWS) is an award-winning agency within Stanford University providing web strategy, user experience, visual design, and web development services to the campus community. SWS is responsible for more than 3,400 websites and is part of University Information Technology (UIT), a 600-person strong organization supporting 100+ services. Minimum requirementsEducation & Experience: Associate degree and two years of relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Good customer service skills and ability to explain technical features to non-technical customers/clients.
Familiarity with a range of programming and scripting languages.
Clear understanding of web standards and usability methods.
In-depth knowledge of content management systems, such as Drupal, including the ability to perform standard installations and configurations.
Demonstrated proficiency building applications in a web development framework.
Understanding of systems integration and various web devices and environments.
Ability to design and implement web services.
Familiarity with authentication and access control.
Knowledge of website delivery best practices.
