Responsibilities & Duties
Just DePaul Strategy Development and Metrics:
Based on the Just DePaul foundational document, this role will establish a strategy and create operational plans for the Just DePaul initiative, including inventorying projects and training initiatives and establishing goals and assessment tools to measure success. Once the Just DePaul strategy has been implemented, the position will continue to promote, track and grow the initiative.
Marketing and Communications:
Develop Just DePaul Marketing and Communications Strategy and support ongoing contentdriven marketing and communications for both Just DePaul and DePaul Migration Collaboration, employing and assessing multiple traditional and digital marketing and communications platforms and technologies.
This duty will include managing the design and production of both print and web-based promotional material for Just DePaul and the DMC such as fliers, slide decks, social media, and e-newsletters.
Education & Experience
The successful applicant for this job will have a Master's degree or appropriate experience in a social-justice-related or strategic program management area.
Understanding and committment to DePaul's Vicentian values and experience leading DEI work and initiatives.
They will have at least 3 years of professional experience in administrative, personnel, and budget management experience (including management of externally-funded grant budgets).
They will have a proven track record or portfolio of successful strategic planning, relationship building, event coordination, marketing/communications, and assessment.
The candidate should have SharePoint web editor experience and familiarity with basic HTML and basic visual design tools, such as Canva and PowerPoint; more advanced document design experience is welcomed.
The successful candidate will also demonstrate an understanding of, and resonance with, the university's Vincentian and Catholic identity and mission and its approach to social and environmental justice.
This position will manage up to 5 graduate students as part of the work of the DePaul Migration Collaborative and Just DePaul.
The Program Coordinator will manage an operational budget of approximately $10,000-15,000 per year, oversee any related student services budget, and manage grant monies if and when they are secured.
Commute between campuses regularly.
Other Skills & Abilities Required
Experience with or ability to quickly learn key office software (i.e., Outlook, Microsoft Excel, MS Word).
Ability to manage internal BlueSky/Oracle budgeting system.
