Assists the Instructional Design team with reviewing, organizing, and updating online and blended courses and course design documents. Review/editing includes spelling, grammar, accuracy and clarity, and implementing changes related to instructional content under the direction of an Instructional Designer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In-depth editing for quality assurance of content for all eLearning products
Follow systematic methods and processes for efficient support of the eLearning instructional design team
Follow detailed oral and written instructions for structuring and uploading instructional content in documents and learning management system (LMS).
Assist eLearning staff to assure copyright compliance and accessibility (ADA) for eLearning productions
Complete assigned tasks to meet deadlines within aggressive timeframes
Other duties as assigned.
Strong skills in writing, editing, formatting, style, and accuracy of text required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word processing, Microsoft PowerPoint, and HTML editing valued.
Organizational skills required with the ability to prioritize, while managing multiple tasks
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy specifically related to grammar and punctuation, visual design and layout, and documentation of detailed job tasks and instructions
Understanding of academic writing.
Must be committed to learning and developing in the fast-changing field of eLearning.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree required, with additional educational or professional experience in writing/editing/communications or education preferred. Experience using Learning Management Software (LMS) and/or other instructional technology tools is preferred.
