Assistant Director of Communications - Creative and Digital
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Required Education: 4 Year Degree
This position focuses on multimedia design, contributing to the planning, production and editing of versatile and engaging digital content.
Apply visual design best practice principles to the design and development of static and interactive elements (graphics, videos, animations, interactive simulations, etc.), while maintaining NCAA branding/graphics standards.
Plan and conduct virtual and off-site interviews for feature video content.
Create visual stories through digital images, video overlays, textual animations, etc.
Assist with audio channel strategy – plan, record, edit and distribute audio files.
Contribute to social media channel management and strategy.
Maintain relationships with approved vendors and provide consistent creative direction.
Manage photography services, including serving as primary in-house photographer and photo editor.
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, digital design, film, or a related field.
Demonstrated technical proficiency with video production equipment, platforms and strategies.
Strong technical skills and experience with Final Cut Studio, Adobe Creative Suite Video Editing software and AfterEffects, among others.
Must be familiar with current digital best practices and be able to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
Must possess a high level of attention to detail and excellent personal communication skills.
