We are looking for a highly motivated visual designer to join our Brand and Design team in Boston. In this role, you will apply your creativity, passion, skill and keen eye for detail to transform marketing and communication strategies into engaging brand experiences and communications that bring the State Street brand to life for our clients, employees and communities around the world.As a vital part of our design team, you will collaborate with in-house designers, producers, marketers, content creators and business partners to develop creative concepts, visual communications, events and campaigns that elevate State Street???s brand presence in the market .Like us, you have a curious mind and a passion for design. You will report to the Design Director on our Brand and Design team inside State Street???s Global Marketing organization. While we prefer and encourage our teams to work on site, the Brand and Design team currently works in a hybrid model, so you can balance work from home and the office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you???ll be doing
Turn communication strategies and insights into compelling creative concepts, visual communications, promotional launches and campaigns across video, digital and print mediums, helping to push our digital-first approach.
Ensure brand consistency and quality across projects through disciplined executions, multiple iterations and direction of third-party vendors
Storyboard and create motion-graphic and video content.
Support our client events with graphic and other experiential elements.
Develop information graphics and data visualizations.
Prepare and attend presentations for your projects where needed.
Create video and motion templates for consistency and quality.
Create clean, high-quality artwork and digital files for production. ??

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Formal training in graphic/visual design and/or 3-4 years of hands-on experience working in a design studio, advertising agency or in-house design team.
Direct experience in video and motion graphics development.
Mastery in Adobe Creative Cloud design apps (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, InDesign, Lightroom and Audition).
Competent with Microsoft Office suite: PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
Demonstrated experience creating compelling visual communications, promotional launches and campaigns.
A working understanding of digital and physical production methods, including video and motion graphics, web development, and offset (and digital) printing. ??
Knowledge of Microsoft Sharepoint, Teams, Stream and Yammer are a plus
An understanding of B-to-B marketing and financial services is a plus, but not required
