The American Association for Justice (AAJ®) is seeking a Senior Manager- Social Media & Digital Marketing for its Marketing department. AAJ works to preserve the constitutional right to trial by jury and to make sure people have a fair chance to seek justice when they are injured by the negligence or misconduct of others—even when it means taking on the most powerful corporations.
The Senior Manager Social Media & Digital Marketing is responsible for developing, managing, and executing AAJ’s social media strategy while proactively seeking opportunities to further advance the organization and its mission through online campaigns, stakeholder engagement, digital marketing outreach and growing social media channels.
• Generate, edit, publish and share engaging social media content daily (e.g., original text, photos, graphics, videos and news) on popular social media platforms, such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn. • Day-to-day management and execution of advocacy and association social media campaigns, ensuring a consistent voice across multiple platforms. • Oversee the creation and implementation of a monthly calendar, which includes digital campaigns, social media strategy and performance objectives. • Manage paid social media advertising campaigns. • Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers, increase sales and measure, analyze, and report on progress. • Continually monitor all AAJ social media platforms and brand mentions. • Collaborate with other AAJ teams to create holistic and varied content. • Create a unique and noteworthy persona/voice for AAJ online. • Manage existing social media data-gathering tools and use data points for intelligent market reporting. • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications. • Use consumer video-editing software to cut, edit and/or create online web, social media, and other digitally formatted videos. • Other duties and projects as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree. • Minimum 5 years of combined professional experience in web-based/digital promotion; executing social media content strategy; commercial social media or web-based customer engagement; and/or developing and executing digital advertising campaigns. • Expertise using social media platforms (such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) and social media management software (such as Sprout Social or HootSuite). • Experience in email marketing, digital marketing, and digital advertising. • Strong writing and copy-editing skills and attention to detail. • Strong organizational and project management skills. • Independent initiative and ability to work with and/or lead teams. • Intermediate to advanced skills in office software such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the like. • Creative experience with video-editing software and visual design software (such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a definite plus. • Capacity to thrive in fast-paced environment. • Occasional travel may be required (less than 10%). • Commitment to issues important to AAJ and its members.

**The American Association for Justice (AAJ) requires all employees to show proof of vaccination, including booster vaccination. AAJ will allow for exceptions to COVID-19 vaccination and booster vaccination based on a medical exemption, disability accommodation, or religious objection; pregnant individuals may also request a deferral if they wish for the duration of the pregnancy.
