Reporting to the Creative Director, the Assistant Creative Director manages the assignment of projects submitted to Creative Services through WebCRD, distributing them to the Graphic Artists, based on ability, workload, and deadlines.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: â€¢Tracks the flow and status of jobs currently in Creative Services, and issues daily record of status. â€¢Creates publications and designs of varying sizes and formats (an average of 280 assignments per year) for all areas of the University. â€¢Guides print and digital designs from concept to approval. â€¢Ensures quality visual design, correct application of University branding standards and clear presentation of information. â€¢Comfortable working on multiple projects of different types, with multiple clients. â€¢Provides attention to detail and manages workloads efficiently, while integrating creative direction from supervisors, editing changes, and notes from clients. â€¢At the completion of a print piece, prepares â€œjobsâ€� for production by outside vendors and reviews proofs before final printing. â€¢Performs other related duties as assigned.
