Duolingo, Inc. is seeking multiple Product Designers, Systems (Pittsburgh, PA) to develop interaction models, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups that promote ease of use and optimize how customers interact with our products. Define, implement, and contribute to a design system that supports the strategic objectives of the business. Work with multi-disciplinary teams, including engineers, product managers, and other designers to design system components, patterns, and frameworks. Design flows and experiences that simplify and distill down complex actions into usable interfaces. Conduct, document, derive learnings from, and share usability testing and feedback loop. Contribute to the use and adoption of the latest design system updates in the industry and/or make a case for acquiring the system.
Requires a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
Must have work or academic experience with: Platform web design; Game Design; Natural Language Processing; Interface design; Interactive prototypes; User Experience Design; Visual Design; Wireframes; Data visualization theory; web-based visualization; and Figma.
