Under general supervision of the Engineering Services Supervisor, plan, design, and oversee engineering of the campus telecommunications infrastructure. This position is part of Network Services & Engineering within the Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) group of Information & Educational Technology (IET) department. Responsibilities include working independently or in conjunction with the campus Design and Construction Management department, serving as the project manager for major campus telecommunications projects and providing consulting services directly to campus clients. Also, oversee work performed by contract consulting/engineering rms and installation contractors, provide technical assistance and support to other EIS and IET units on existing network infrastructure.
