Louisiana Tech University, a Division 1 member of Conference USA, is seeking highly motivated candidates who will serve as the Assistant Director of Video Operations & Creative Services for the Athletics Department. The Assistant Director will serve as the secondary designer for the department’s digital content and publications. This position will report directly to the Associate AD for External Relations.
Responsibilities include but not limited to: •Assist with the creation of original and creative visual designs and motion graphics to promote the 16 intercollegiate sports on various media platforms. •Attend athletic events to capture and build creative assets to be used to further promote various sports in-game and throughout the season. •Assist with all video operations and videoboard production for Louisiana Tech Athletics. •Assist in set up and teardown of video equipment at athletic events. •Oversee streaming of press conferences and athletic events. •Assist in video creation for marketing, sponsorship, and communication collateral. •Knowledge of basic camera shooting, editing, and settings (White balance, ISO, aperture, etc…). •Knowledge of Blackmagic switcher, Daktronics, and 3Play systems. •Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines accordingly.
Qualifications include: •Bachelor’s degree required. •Experience in live video production and working knowledge of creative software including Adobe Creative Cloud. •One to two years of sports video production experience preferred. •Strong interpersonal skills. •High level of creativity and attention to detail. •Self-starter and intrinsically motivated. •Proven ability to multi-task effectively. •Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.
