Knox-area, hybrid work, minimum two days on campus

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) has an immediate opening for a Visual Communications Specialist for graphic and web design. We seek an individual with a graphic design background, technical curiosity and problem-solving ability, process documentation skills, and willingness to learn and try new solutions.

This position supports OIT and the campus community's usage of SharePoint as an intranet solution, including applying templates and themes through the web interface. This position will work with the team to maintain various OIT web and intranet sites. This position leads web-based projects, from vision to completion, collaborating with team members, OIT developers, and server admins to complete required project goals. This position provides consultation and training to the UT community.

This position also supports marketing and promotions for OIT services with creative concepts, graphic design elements, web content, eNewsletters, digital signage, and various social media applications. This position leads projects and contributes to project teams with formal visual design solutions.
